2 Indian citizens killed in truck-private car collision

2 Indian citizens killed in truck-private car collision.Two Indian citizens were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a private car in Satkhira. Another person was injured.

The accident took place in front of Satkhira BGB camp on Saturday morning.  The deceased are Chir Biswas (36) and Asim Kumar (45). They are said to be residents of West Bengal, India. In this incident, the driver of the private car was injured.  

According to the police and locals, in the morning while coming from Khulna to Satkhira by private car, a private car collided with an oil truck in front of the BGB camp. Two passengers of the private car were killed on the spot. The injured driver has been admitted to Satkhira Sadar Hospital in critical condition.  

Satkhira Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohidul Islam said that the two Indian nationals who were killed were working under the Ministry of Railways in Mongla. Preparations are underway to send their bodies to Sadar Hospital Morgue.
