Two staff of Palli Bidyut Samity died after being electrocuted in Jhalakathi’s Kathalia upazila on Wednesday night time.
The deceased are Md Mizanur Rahman, 42, in-charge at Marichbunia criticism centre, and lineman Md Manir Hossain, 35, of Jhalakathi Palli Bidyut Samity.
Mizanur was from Patuakhali and Manir was from the district’s Kathalia upazila, stated Md Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kathalia Police Station.
In response to locals, each Mizanur and Manir have been electrocuted whereas they have been repairing a torn electrical wire close to Mollah Bari of Nyamatpura space.
The locals took them to Kathalia Upazila Well being Advanced the place the physician on responsibility declared them useless.
