240 officials were promoted to the post of Deputy Secretary.240 officers have been promoted from senior assistant secretary to deputy secretary in administration. A notification has been issued by the Ministry of Public Administration with this promotion on Saturday. Among those promoted are 9 senior assistant secretary rank officers posted in various embassies and missions abroad.
The election commission will announce the election schedule within this week. There is a possibility of voting for the 12th National Assembly elections in the first week of next January.
The interim government will start after the announcement of the schedule. Meanwhile, this promotion was given in the administration. The promoted officers have been made Officers on Special Duty (OSD) of the Ministry of Public Administration. However, no order has been issued appointing new deputy secretaries.
