3 more Israeli soldiers were killed in an attack by Hamas fighters in the besieged Gaza Strip of Palestine. According to Israel’s admission, a total of 164 soldiers were killed in the ground operation in Gaza.
Three soldiers were killed in a fierce battle between the occupying forces and Hamas fighters in the Al-Bureiz area of the central and northern Gaza Strip on Tuesday. Among them there are two captain rank officers.In addition to the death of these soldiers, several other Israeli soldiers were seriously injured. The news of these soldiers’ deaths comes just as Israel says it has stepped up its ground operations in the Gaza Strip.
Although Hamas has admitted that 164 Israeli soldiers were killed in the ground operation in the Gaza Strip, the number of occupation forces killed is much higher. In a public statement yesterday, the top level leader of Hamas, Yahya Sinwar, said that 1,600 Israeli soldiers have been killed and more than 3,000 seriously injured in the attacks by their fighters.
