A Faridpur court today sentenced five people to death for raping and killing a woman back in 2019.
The convicts are Chunnu Sheikh, 32, Islam Mir, 36, Atiar Mollah, 46, Nasir Khan, 44, and Nazmul Hossain, 36, reports our Faridpur correspondent quoting Sawpan Paul, public prosecutor of the district Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal.

The victim Kajal Rekha, 32, was a jute mill worker in Madhukhali upazila. She lived in Rajdharpur village.
She was raped and later strangled to death by the convicts on the night of October 15, 2019.
