8-year-old son is older than his mother in Pabna.Son Majed Ali is 8 years older than his mother Majeda Khatun. The date of birth of son is August 10, 1969. And the mother was born on 18 October 1977! Unbelievably, such a difference in the age of mother and son is seen in their national identity cards. Their home is Patulipara village of Bhangura upazila of Pabna. Due to such wrong information in the NID card, the mother and son are having to suffer.
Meanwhile, old lady Majeda Begum has been deprived of the medical allowance due to her husband’s pension for a long time due to her low age on the NID card. He said, he is now 74 years old. But in the NID card, the date of birth is wrongly written as 18 October 1977. In other words, his age has reduced to 46 years.
She also said that her husband Moslem Uddin used to work in Railways. 20 years ago he died. He is getting his pension as wife. But due to the low age on the NID card, he is being deprived of the amount of medical allowance that he is supposed to get. Son Majed Ali said that his age on the NID card is 8 years older than his mother! Due to this mistake, they have to fall into irony. Many people laughed at this. Bhangura Upazila election officer Azizur Rahman said they have been advised to revise the NID card. For this, he asked to apply online along with the necessary documents.
