BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said that the illegitimate Awami League government is trying to conduct elections in the country in ‘Amra and Mamura style’. But the people of Bangladesh will not allow such an election.
He said these things after the march from Kakrail to Shantinagar intersection on the first day of the 9th phase of blockade called by BNP on Sunday (December 3) morning. The march was organized by the fishermen’s party to demand the resignation of the government, the cancellation of the election schedule, the release of Khaleda Zia and the party’s general secretary.
Participating in the procession were BNP’s youth affairs secretary Mir Newaz Ali Newaz, member secretary of the Nationalist Fishermen’s Party Central Committee Abdur Rahim, central joint convener Omar Farooq Patwari, Md. Shah Alam, Kabir Uddin Master, Metropolitan South Member Secretary KM Sohail Rana, Metropolitan North Member Secretary Mohammad Bakibillah, Narayanganj District President HM Hossain, Munshiganj District Convener Haji Anwar Hossain, Central Committee Member Ibrahim Chowdhury and others.
