Bangladesh is getting smart, along with that the army has to be smart. We need to prepare ourselves keeping in mind the future technology, strategy and global situation.
He said these things while inaugurating the 15-storey family residence ‘Senaneer’ at Sheikh Hasina cantonment in Barisal on Monday, September 18 at noon. At that time he announced the inauguration of Station Officers Mess-B, Division Model Room, Division Swimming Pool, Garrison Mosque-3.
Army Chief’s Vision for Enhanced Comfort and Morale
The army chief also said that the standard of living of the army personnel will be more comfortable than before with the construction of the facilities. It will help to boost your morale. If you have high morale, you will be able to take proper training and perform your duties properly. Bangladesh Army’s duty is to serve, protect the country from external enemies.
Army chief SM Shafiuddin Ahmed said, we have to work with the mentality of self-sacrifice all the time. We have survived this challenging profession of army to suffer. I firmly believe that we will be able to shine our own image to the people by preparing ourselves and performing any responsibility of the government in the country and abroad properly.
