According to our Rajshahi staff correspondent, the’smart employment fair‘ started about 2:00 pm and would last till 8:00 pm.The event was jointly organized by the government’s ICT division and the Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).
According to RCC Public Relations Officer Mostafiz Mishu, at least 675 job seekers, including 218 women, have registered online to attend the fair so far.Job seekers can attend the event without registering, according to Mishu.
According to him, 33 businesses attended the fair to find employees for their businesses.24 out of 33 enterprises, according to Mishu, will hire 15,000 job seekers across various sectors.
According to the public relations officer, 897 job seekers from the fair will be hired directly by the employers while the remaining jobs will be offered following an examination of online applications.
