Awami League leader Bara Moni's latched rape victim was found

Police recovered the hanging body of Mirza Afroz Esha (22), the plaintiff in the rape case filed against Awami League leader Bara Moni of Tangail. Esha’s body was recovered from the third floor of her house on Saturday afternoon. 

The police have surrounded the house till the writing of this report. Tangail Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Sharfuuddin confirmed the recovery of the body.

The deceased Mirza Afroz Esha is the daughter of Latif Mirza of Kar Betka village of Kartia Union of Tangail Sadar Upazila.

According to the police and locals, a woman named Tanima Akhtar heard the crying of Mirza Afroz Esha’s baby in her room at noon today. Later, when the people in the neighborhood were informed, they informed the police. The police recovered the body after receiving information.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tangail Sadar Police Station Mohammad Abu Chalam Miah said that the plaintiff of the discussed rape case, Mirza Afroz Esha, was hanging with a fan in his room of his three-storey house. On receiving the information, the police went to the spot and recovered the body.

Tangail Additional Superintendent of Police Sharfuddin told Kal Kantha, ‘I visited the scene after receiving the news. A crime scene team is going to the spot.After the inspection of this team, the body will be removed from his house.’

Deceased Mirza Afroz Esha is the plaintiff in a rape case filed against Awami League Vice President Golam Kibria alias Bara Monir in Tangail city. Big Moni’s brother Tanveer Hasan alias Chhota Moni is the current Member of Parliament from Tangail-II Constituency.
