Miscreants hacked an Awami League leader named Milan Hossain (34) in Bogra.
The incident took place in front of a filling station in Jhopgari area of the city on Thursday night. Milan Hossain went to Jhopgari area around 10:15 PM. At that time, the miscreants armed with various indigenous weapons hit him on his hands and legs and ran away. He was quickly rescued and admitted to Bogra Shajimek Hospital. Injured Milan Hossain is the son of deceased Mofiz Uddin of Dakshin Jhopgari area of Bogra city. He is the publicity secretary of the 17th Ward branch of Awami League in Bogra city.
Sadar Police Station OC Saihan Oliullah said that due to previous enmity, Ward Awami League leader Milan Hossain was attacked. An operation is underway to identify and arrest the attackers.
