The uproar over the US visa ban has started across the country. However, the Awami League’s organizing secretary, Mirza Azam, commented that it has nothing to do with the Awami League. He said we would not go to America. The Awami League will be on the streets with the next election ahead. At that time, the leaders and activists present supported his statement.
On Saturday (September 23) afternoon, a peace and development rally was organized by the Metropolitan South and North Awami League at Baitul Mukarram South Gate.
Mirza Azam said that there is no use in showing a ban. Elections will be held on time as per the constitution. BNPE will be banned if it tries to disrupt the elections.
At that time, Awami League presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak said, We want friendship, not dominance. There is no use in showing a bloodshot Awami League. The Awami League election will be passed successfully.
The party’s joint general secretary, Mahbubul-Alam Hanif, said that the BNP will be confronted on the streets if it opposes the election. No foreign power can come and put the BNP in power.
Earlier, the rally started around 3:30 p.m. Since noon, the entire area has become full of slogans and processions around the rally. The activists started coming in groups.
