Border Guard Bangladesh handed over a member of Indian Border Security Force early yesterday, hours after he was detained along Bhurungamari border in Kurigram for entering Bangladesh illegally.
Shri Sanu Kumar Jetop, a member of BSF Battalion-31, was handed over to the BSF authorities around 12:15am yesterday after a BGB-BSF company commander level flag meeting, said Lt Col Abdul Mottakim, commanding officer of BGB Battalion-22 in Kurigram.
Around 10:00pm on Thursday, locals caught the BSF member from near Sonahat border of Bhurungamari upazila and handed him over to the BGB, said Lt Col Mottakim.
