BNP is attacking the police with permission for peaceful assembly: DB chief

BNP is attacking the police with permission for peaceful assembly DB chief My News Bangladesh

DMP Additional Commissioner of Police (DB) Mohammad Haroon Or Rasheed alleged that BNP was attacking the police by taking permission for a peaceful assembly. He made this complaint while talking to reporters in front of the Chief Justice’s residence at Kakrail in the capital on Saturday (October 28).

The DB chief said that the rallies should be held systematically, they have taken permission from the DMP commissioner under such conditions. But suddenly the BNP leaders and activists threw bricks and stones at the police. Then we remove them. Later they set fire to the IDEB building, vandalized the Chief Justice’s building. We removed them from there too.

When asked about Jamaat’s rally, DB Pradhan said, “We are not saying anything if Jamaat’s rally is peaceful.” But even there they threw bricks and stones at the police. We are vigilant and will take legal action if things go out of control. Fire in government building – fire in bus – Those who caused this incident will be investigated and legal action will be taken against them.
