Hanif said these things in response to reporters’ questions at his residence in Kushtia city at 11 o’clock on Saturday. At this time, Hanif spoke at the citizen representative meeting organized by the Kushtia Citizens Council. Leaders of Citizens Council, Awami League and various organizations were present there.
Hanif also said that the elections will be held on time without any problems. It doesn’t matter whether a party comes or not, how acceptable will depend on the turnout of voters.
Regarding BNP, Hanif said that they supported militancy while in power. And terrorist activities are being done out of power. They are trying to create panic to disrupt the elections.
