A Prajapati Paribahan bus was set on fire in the town hall of Mohammadpur in the capital. The bus was set on fire around 10:30 am on Sunday (October 29).
Eyewitnesses said that a group of 20-30 people suddenly marched out in support of the strike and set fire to a Prajapati Transport bus at the town hall. After receiving the information, two units of the fire service reached the spot and worked to control the fire.
Fire Service and Civil Defense Directorate media officer Shahjahan Shikder said that the fire service received information about a fire in a bus in the town hall area at 10:21. Later, two units rushed to the spot and joined in controlling the fire.He said that the bus was almost completely burnt in the fire but there was no casualty.
