CEC will address the nation in the evening.The Election Commission (EC) will hold a press conference on Wednesday (November 15) morning to highlight the overall context and preparations for the 12th National Assembly elections. 

After the commission meeting in the afternoon, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal will announce the details by addressing the nation on television and radio. Election Commission sources have given this information.

EC officials said, on the occasion of announcing the schedule, EC Secretary Md. will hold a press conference at 10 am. Jahangir Alam. Then the Election Commission headed by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal will hold a meeting at 5 pm. CEC will address the nation at 7 pm after the meeting. 

The announcement regarding the schedule will be made in that address. According to the schedule announced by the CEC, the parliamentary elections can be held in the first week of January next year.

It has been seen on the ground that the security measures have been strengthened in Agargaon Commission Building and its surrounding areas on Tuesday (November 14) based on the announcement of the schedule.

 In the evening, a police exercise was also seen in front of the Election Commission building. Apart from this, the personal hearing for revision of NID in the commission building has been stopped from Tuesday. 

Earlier, the EC Secretary said that the entire schedule of the 12th Parliament elections will be announced in the media on the last day of the first half of November, i.e. Wednesday morning. When, when and how the schedule will be announced will be announced through a briefing on Wednesday (November 15) at 10 am.

The Election Commission had already announced the schedule of the upcoming national elections in the first half of November.
