Saddam Hossain, President of Bangladesh’s Chhatra League, stated that seat trading and question paper leaks within the university hall are not aligned with the mission of Chhatra League. The organization’s primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of students.
During the 26th annual conference of the Rajshahi University branch of Chhatra League, Saddam praised the selflessness and history of sacrifices among the leaders and activists of this university’s Chhatra League, who have often faced attacks by fundamentalists.
Saddam hopes that the university authorities will resist any external forces or fundamentalists who try to disrupt the freedom on campus. He also urges effective measures to solve the housing crisis at the university.
Awami League Presidium Member and Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, Central Chhatra League General Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan, Joypurhat-2 Constituency MP, and Jatiya Sangsad Whip Abu Saeed Al Mahmud Swapan were the chief guests at the conference.
