DMP launched digital wireless system. Digital Wireless Operating System has been launched to improve information services and strengthen security system of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman inaugurated the digital wireless system by talking to the DMP control room on Abdul Gani Road from the conference room of DMP headquarters on Thursday afternoon.At that time, the DMP Commissioner said, Dhaka Metropolitan Police had some analog and some digital radios. Being analog, some information would have gotten into someone else’s hands. When the matter came to notice, a committee consisting of experts was formed.
The commissioner also said that from now on, no one will be able to make intersections in this system as all wireless devices are digital. If any set user or any official leaks information through this set, it will be caught in this system.
DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman ordered wireless users and all officers to use this technology diligently.
