The motorcycle accident happened on Wednesday (September 20) around 10:30 p.m. When he was taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a coma, the doctor declared him dead around 2 a.m.
Sohail was the son of Jasim Sarkar of Char Baunia village in Ghazaria upazila of Munshiganj and a final year student of Computer Science and Engineering at Duet.
Another student of the duet brought Sohail to the hospital. Ahsan Habib said that Sohail went out on a motorcycle with a friend at night. He was just learning to ride a motorcycle. The motorcycle lost control on the road next to Duet and hit an electric pole.
Sohail was seriously injured. He was immediately rescued and taken to Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital. However, when the condition worsened, he was brought to Dhaka Medical Center at night.DMK Hospital Police Camp Incharge (Inspector) Md. Bachchu Mia said that Sohail’s body has been kept in the morgue.
