First Cabinet Meeting of New Government.Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, presided over the gathering that took place on Monday, January 15, at eleven o’clock in the Cabinet Room of the Prime Minister’s Office.
At the opening of the meeting, the members of the cabinet greeted one another and exchanged pleasantries. In the course of the meeting, the head of government provided the new cabinet members with instructions for their future course of action.
A new administration was established on January 11, and Sheikh Hasina was appointed to the position of prime minister. Within this cabinet, there are a total of 25 ministers and 11 state ministers, with the Prime Minister being the only exception.
