Gaza war coming to a bright end top Hamas leader. Ismail Haniya, head of the expatriate politburo of the Palestinian independence group Hamas, said that apparently the Palestinian war against Israel in Gaza is coming to a glorious end. He praised the heroic resistance of Palestinian fighters and ordinary citizens.
In a televised address on Wednesday night, he said there would be an end to the Israeli aggression and that the resistance fighters would be grateful to the Palestinian nation and defend the Gaza Strip from any aggression.
He said the Palestinian fighters are steadfast and persistent in their war of resistance and are causing irreparable damage to the Israeli army. In this regard, he mentioned the fierce fighting against the occupying forces in the Shujaiya area of Gaza City and the Jabalia refugee camp, among other places.
Ismail Haniyeh said in his speech that Hamas would welcome any move that would end the Israeli aggression and help build an independent Palestinian state. He expressed hope that the political differences between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank would also end with the goal of creating an independent Palestinian state.
The head of the Hamas Politburo said that those who talk about a Gaza Strip without Hamas after the war are in extreme delusion. He called on Arab and Muslim countries to intensify global protests against Israeli brutality and genocide in the Gaza Strip. Ismail Haniya also urged the Arab and Muslim governments to make maximum efforts to stop the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
He thanked UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres for his efforts to establish a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. At the same time, the exiled leader of Hamas also welcomed the resolution passed by the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
