Hero Alam will combat in Bogra-4 seat with Dub Marka.Ashraful Hossain Alam alias Hero Alam has submitted his nomination papers for Bogra-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) seat in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections. But he was not present in Bogra. On behalf of Hero Alam, his personal assistant Sujan Rahman Shubo Bogra District Returning Officer and District Commissioner Md. Saiful submitted the nomination to Islam on Thursday around 3:30 pm.
Earlier, the nomination forms of Bangladesh Congress candidates were collected on Wednesday. Hero Alam told Bangladesh Pratidin after submitting the nomination papers , ‘There was an attempt to elect from two more constituencies. But due to the trip to Dubai, it was no longer possible. This morning, after returning from there, I completed the process of submitting nomination papers for Bogra-4 seat.’
Hero Alam also said, ‘This is my team’s brand name. I want to plow the fields with this brand.’
Meanwhile, after the by-election of Dhaka-17 seat last July, there was concern whether Hero Alam would be elected. After being attacked on the polling day of that by-election, Alam announced that he would not contest again under this government. But finally Hero Alam withdrew from that decision.
Chairman of Bangladesh Congress Adv. Kazi Rezaul Hossain said, ‘Hero Alam participated in the elections several times. Moreover, he is very popular in the polling field. After thinking about everything, he has been nominated from Bogra-4 seat.
