Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that people are looking forward to voting by boat. He said this in the afternoon after the inauguration of the Dhaka Elevated Expressway on Saturday (September 2) at the Sudhi rally organized at the old ground of the trade fair in the capital’s Sherbangla Nagar.

Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said to the Prime Minister, “There’s so much development, I can’t finish talking about it.” Wherever I have been in the world, I have seen your praise.

The Home Minister said, Prime Minister, what you have said has been enlightened. The people of this country are waiting, they will vote to make the boat brand win again.

Home Minister Praises Government’s Projects and Thanks PM for Expressway

The Home Minister highlighted the development projects of the government and thanked the Prime Minister. He thanked the Prime Minister on behalf of the parliamentarians for the construction of the elevated expressway.

Although the Dhaka Elevated Expressway was inaugurated on Saturday, the country’s first elevated expressway will be opened for traffic on Sunday morning. As a result, passengers can reach Farmgate from the airport in just 10 minutes.

Initially, the cost of construction of the flyover was estimated at 8 thousand 703 crores. In 2013, it increased to 8 thousand 940 crores. The cost of the project with the latest tax, VAT, has increased to 16 thousand 70 lakh 7 thousand 153 taka.

First Dhaka Elevated Expressway (FDEE) Company Limited is the investor in the project. It includes 51 percent of the Italian Thai Development Public Company Limited, 34 percent of China Shandong International Economic and Technical Cooperation Group (CSI), and 15 percent of Sinohydro Corporation Limited.
