Housewife’s body found in Noakhali. After killing a housewife in Subarnachar of Noakhali, the miscreants dumped the body in the canal. The body of the housewife was recovered from the canal. However, the police and the relatives of the deceased could not give any reason for the murder. The deceased Bibi Halima Begum (47) is the wife of Jasim Uddin of Char Pana Ulyah village of Char Jabbar Union of Upazila.   

The body of the housewife was recovered from the Malek Canal of Char Pana Ulyah village of the upazila around 1 pm on Thursday. Earlier, the locals believe that the murder took place on Wednesday night.   According to the police and locals, the deceased woman lived alone in her husband’s house. None of his 5 sons stayed with him all the time. 

They used to come once a week. He lived almost alone in the house. Yesterday he came to his home in the evening from the district town Maijdi. As usual, he slept in his room at night. Around 8 am, local people saw his dead body with both legs tied lying in the Malek canal near the house and informed the police.  

Charjabbar Police Station OC Inspector (Investigation) Zainal Abedin confirmed the truth of the incident. The deceased woman has injuries on her left eye and head. It is initially believed to be a homicide. On receiving the information, the police sent the body to the 250-bed Noakhali General Hospital morgue for post-mortem. . At the same time, the police are trying to unravel the mystery of the murder.
