Expatriate income has turned around this month after the lowest expatriate income in 44 months in September.
A review of the data showed that the amount of remittances that have come to the country on the 20th day of this month is 101.52 million dollars through state-owned banks, 4.15 million 30 thousand dollars through a specialized bank, and 1.1 million 31 million 10 thousand dollars through private banks. And 39 lakh 10 thousand US dollars came through foreign banks.

September of FY 2023-24 saw the lowest remittances in the last 3-and-a-half years. In the month under discussion, remittances came to 134 crore 36 lakh 60 thousand US dollars. In the first month of the fiscal year 2023-24, the remittances in July were 19731 million 50 thousand US dollars and in August the remittances were 159 million 94 million 50 thousand US dollars.
