North Korea has blamed Israel for the conflict as it escalated its conflict with Hamas, a Palestinian pro-independence armed group. Various international media have reported this news by quoting Rodong Sinmun, a newspaper known as the spokesperson of North Korea’s ruling party.
Rodong Sinmun reports that there has been a large-scale armed conflict between Hamas in Palestine and Israel. The ongoing conflict is the ‘result of Israel’s relentless barbaric actions’ against the Palestinian people.
The international community has also termed the conflict as a consequence of Israel’s continued rogue actions against the Palestinian people. They say the basic solution is an independent Palestinian state.
Meanwhile, some US and South Korean media claimed that a ‘North Korean-made’ weapon was seen in the hand of a Hamas fighter during the fight against Israel.
According to US-based media Radio Free Asia (RFA), a North Korean-made ‘A-7 high-explosive fragmentation rocket’ was found in the hands of a fighter of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas in Gaza.
The claim was made by an account on social media X (formerly known as Twitter) called ‘War Noir’, RFA said. South Korean news agency Yonhap, news media Korea Times and KBS made the same claim with their sources. Source: Anadolu Agency
