DB chief said law is equal for all. Be it a politician or any other person. If there is a warrant and a clear case against someone, he will be brought under the law.

In response to a question, he said that there are two warrants against him (Annie) in Lakshmipur. He was arrested by the Dhanmondi Model Police Station on the request of the District Police. He is also accused in the FIR in the case of assaulting the police in Sciencelab area of ​​the capital.
He also said that Dhanmondi police arrested him in two incidents. Although a warrant was issued against him, he did not appear in court and did not take bail. He did not appear in any case. He was arrested by the police because he had a warrant. Haroon Or Rashid also mentioned that Annie did not appear in the court even though the police repeatedly informed about the warrant.

Earlier, Annie was picked up by the police from her Dhanmondi residence around 2 am on Tuesday (October 10). Later he was arrested in two cases and sent to court.

According to the police, there were warrants against him in two cases in Lakshmipur and Dhanmondi in the capital. In this regard, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Dhanmondi police station. Parvez Islam told the media that Annie was arrested in a case of sabotage. He has been sent to the court seeking a seven-day remand.
