In response to such questions from journalists, Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said, ‘If the Ministry of Fisheries and Animal Resources wants, permission will be given to import eggs. But so far they have not asked for that permission.’He said this at an opening ceremony in front of the town hall market of Mohammadpur in the capital on Sunday.
Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Tapan Kanti Ghosh, was present at the inauguration ceremony of ‘Sales of TCB products including rice and eggs at affordable prices to one crore family cardholders in the month of August’.
