Picnic bus-pickup collision in Cox’s Bazar 4 killed.4 people were killed in a collision between a pick-up and a picnic bus at Chakriar Harbang on Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong highway. At least 8 people were injured in this incident.
In-charge of Chakria Chiringa Highway Police Station SI Khokon Kanti Rodra said that the accident took place at Kalabagan area of North Harbang in Chakria Harbang Union around 8:30 am on Thursday.
The deceased are, Riduan, son of Mostak Ahmed of Chakria Harbang North Karamharipara, Abu Bakkar, son of Rashid Ahmed of Samajpara, Zainal Abedin, son of Badsha Mia, Mohiuddin, son of Mozaffar Ahmed of Battatali.
SI Khokon Rodra said that Zakir Travel (Dhaka Metro-B-13-1315) and Chittagong-bound pickup (Chattmetro-No-11-1789) which came to Cox’s Bazar for a pleasure trip, clashed when they reached Harbang area. Four workers were killed when the pickup overturned. About 8 people were injured.
