Police jacket on Svechasevak League leader:After a photo of a Volunteer League leader called Sajedul Islam Sagar wearing the bulletproof jacket of police in Bogra’s Dhunat went popular on Facebook, the Special Investigations Officer (SI) of the Dhunat police station, Shahidul Islam, was removed from his position as a result of dereliction of duty.

On Monday evening, he was transferred from the Dhunat police station to the Bogra police line. This transfer took place. Earlier, on June 7, he was summoned back from the police station because an accused person had gotten away from him while he was holding them.

It is known that on the night of October 31, Sechsevak League leader Sajedul posted a police bulletproof photo on MyDay from his personal ID. After some time, when the topic began to be discussed and criticized in a number of different circles, he withdrew the photo.

Son of Chan Mia Sarkar, he was born in the Sonahata Hospital Para section of Nandiarpara village, which is located in the Nimgachi union of the Sagar upazila.

According to the police, SI Shahidul Islam went to Sonahata Bazar in the Nimgachi Union of Upazila to conduct his professional responsibilities in order to ensure that the blockage that was planned for by the BNP went off without a hitch.

During this time, he removed his bulletproof jacket, placed it on a table in an adjacent police office, and then exited the building to go get something to eat. After some time had passed, Sajedul, the head of the Sechsevak League, posed for a photograph while wearing the garment. Later, when he posted the picture on his Facebook ID, discussions and criticism were created. The photo was taken down from Facebook shortly after the head of the volunteer league became aware of the error.

Dhunat police station officer in-charge After learning about the situation, according to Rabiul Islam, the head of the Sechsevak League called Sagar was detained, taken to the police station, and then questioned before being returned to his family.

However, no one else is allowed to wear the jacket used by the police. Following the completion of the investigation, it was determined that the officer in charge of the case had acted in a negligent manner. As a result, the officer was removed from the case and assigned to the Bogra police line.
