Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is visiting Saudi Arabia on November 5. She will attend the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) International Women’s Conference there, while also performing Umrah. Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen gave this information to the journalists on Wednesday (November 1).
The foreign minister said that there will be a women’s conference in Jeddah.The Prime Minister will go there. The Prime Minister will visit Saudi on a commercial flight on the 5th. He will attend the conference on 6th evening. Iran’s female vice president will also attend the conference.
In response to a question, Momen said, we hope that the Gaza issue of Palestine will be raised in the Saudi conference. Our position on this is very clear. We have taken a vocal stand on the human rights abuses in Gaza.He said, Secretary General of OIC, Vice President of Iran will meet the Prime Minister during this visit.Apart from this many others will meet. Saudi Foreign Minister will meet. The Prime Minister will return to the country before November 8.
