Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left Dhaka for New York to attend the 78th session of the United Nations Normal Meeting (UNGA).
A Biman Bangladesh Airways VVIP flight carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left Hazrat Shahjalal Worldwide Airport at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday (September 17).
After a four-hour layover at London’s Heathrow Airport, the flight is scheduled to land at JFK Worldwide Airport at 10:50 p.m. New York time on September 17. Bangladesh Ambassador and Everlasting Consultant to the United Nations Muhammad Abdul Muhith and Bangladesh Ambassador to america Muhammad Imran will obtain the Prime Minister on the airport.
In the meantime, whereas in New York, the Prime Minister will take part within the high-level first-day common debate of the 78th Normal Meeting session on the Normal Meeting Corridor on the UN Headquarters on September 19 and can deal with it on September 22 between 1 pm and a couple of pm native time. The Prime Minister will even attend a dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden on September 19.
Along with the Normal Meeting session, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is alleged to attend a number of high-level bilateral and courtesy conferences on the Rohingya disaster and local weather change, the Sustainable Improvement Objectives (SDGs), common well being, and finance.
