Prison suffocates leaders and activists.BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, along with key leaders of the party and thousands of activists, are still living a claustrophobic existence after being imprisoned as a result of the tyranny of the government, according to Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the BNP. Rizvi made this statement. Because they have been denied all of their fundamental rights, they have been subjected to the most severe kind of tyranny.
These statements were made by him at a news conference that took place on Saturday at the Nayapaltan BNP central office.
Rizvi said that an atrocious existence is being lived by thousands of leaders and activists who are incarcerated, including the BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, a member of the Standing Committee named Mirza Abbas, and Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury. No medical attention is being provided to these individuals.
Rizvi also stated that almost all human rights organizations around the world, including the international human rights organization Human Rights Watch, which is based in the United States, the influential Australian senator David Shubridge, and diplomats and political influentials from a variety of countries, have called for a new national election by canceling Sheikh Hasina’s rigged election and releasing the political prisoners. It is for this reason that the call for the cancelation of the Tamasha elections and the release of royal prisoners is now being heard in the international arena as well.
Rizvi made the observation that if the government is established in the future by the votes of the people, then every penny would be accounted for when the government is formed in the nation in the name of election, which is the same thing that the Dummy Chief Election Commissioner is sleeping in the name of election.
