NDTV reported that a special plane with these aids left for El-Arish in Egypt from Ramenskoye Airport near Moscow. Russian Emergencies Minister Ilya Denisov said Russian humanitarian aid would be handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent to be sent to the Gaza Strip.
Denisov said the aid included wheat, sugar, rice and pasta.Earlier, US President Joe Biden on Wednesday presented a deal to allow essential humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.
