Star cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has collected the nomination form of Awami League for three seats to participate in the 12th National Parliament election. The constituencies are – Dhaka-10, Magura-1 and 2.
Relatives collected the forms on behalf of Shakib Al Hasan from the Awami League central office at 23 Bangabandhu Avenue on Saturday. Siddiqui Nazmul Alam, the former general secretary of BCL, who is in charge of selling the nomination forms of the Dhaka division, confirmed this to the media.
On the other hand, Awami League sold 1064 nomination forms on the first day for the 12th National Election. Among them, 1050 people have collected nomination forms directly and 14 people have collected them online, said AL office secretary Barrister Biplab Barua.
