Shakil Khan declared his independence

Shakil Khan declared his independence. Actor Shakil Khan has announced the election as an independent candidate in Bagerhat-3 (Rampal-Mongla) constituency without getting party nomination of Awami League.

His nephew Shahriar Nazim collected the nomination form on behalf of Shakeel Khan from the office of Deputy Commissioner and District Returning Officer on Monday afternoon. Rampal Upazila Gaurambha Union Parishad Chairman Rajib Sardar, Panel Chairman Champak Kundu, Bastali Union Parishad member of Ward No. 5 Mallik Mohidul Islam, Ward No. 3 member Humayun Kabir and others.Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Moha. Khalid Hossain has confirmed the receipt of Shakil Khan’s nomination form.

Shakil Khan’s sister’s son Shahriar Nazim said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said she can participate in this election as a party candidate as well as an independent candidate. Actor Shakeel Khan will be elected as an independent candidate in view of Rampal Monglabasi’s demand. We have collected the nomination form on behalf of Shakeel Khan. The people are with us.

At least 11 leaders including Shakeel Khan were aspiring for party nomination of Awami League from Bagerhat-3 seat. The current deputy minister Habibun Nahar MP has received party nomination from this seat.
