SSC exams in 2024 likely to be held in February: Dipu Moni

The government will likely hold the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations in the first week of February from next year, Education Minister Dipu Moni said today.

She made the remark after announcing results at the International Mother Language Institute around 11:00am today.

She said, “We couldn’t hold these major exams in the last three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, we have gradually tried to hold them with a gap shorter than the usual time. Hopefully, from next year, we will be able to hold them at the usual time.”

The SSC exams this year were held on all subjects with full marks but on revised syllabuses.

In Bangladesh, SSC and equivalent exams are usually held in February. However, due to the pandemic, they were held on delayed dates. This year, the exams My News Bangladeshted on April 30, while the exams in 2022 My News Bangladeshted in September, and in November in 2021.
