State Mourning, Notification Issued In Bangladesh On Saturday For The Situation In Palestine My News Bangladesh

State mourning will be observed in Bangladesh on Saturday (October 21) for the deaths of Palestinian citizens in recent brutal attacks by the Israeli occupation forces in other parts of Palestine, including Gaza. On Thursday (October 19) a related notification has been issued by the Cabinet Department.

According to the announcement, special prayers will be held in all mosques of Bangladesh for the peace of the souls of those killed in Palestine and the well-being of the injured on Friday (October 20). Besides, special prayers will be organized in other religious institutions.

At the same time, next Saturday (October 21), the national flag will be flown at half-mast in all government, semi-government and autonomous institutions and educational institutions and all government and private buildings and Bangladesh missions abroad.

Earlier on Thursday (October 19), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced mourning at the 150 Bridge Inauguration Ceremony organized at the Tezgaon Road Building in the capital.
