A bride killed her husband Abdur Razzak with a pillow of their home in Bagmara, Rajshahi. Shapla Khatun, the bride, has confessed to the police about killing her husband after the arrest.
The incident occurred on Monday night time in Saipara village of Basupara union of the upazila.
It’s identified that Shapla Khatun, daughter of Shukur Ali of Dhurail village of Mohanpur upazila, was having a love affair on cell phone with Abdur Razzak, son of Saipara village of Basupara union of Bagmara for a very long time. Based mostly on that love, they bought married formally on Monday with the consent of each the households.
At round 11:00 p.m., the bride Shapla Khatun killed her husband Abdur Razzak with a pillow throughout an argument between the newlyweds. On getting the information, the folks of the village arrested Shapla Khatun and handed him over to the police.
Aminul Islam, OC of Bagmara police station, mentioned that Abdur Razzak’s physique was recovered and despatched to Rajshahi Medical School Hospital morgue for post-mortem. A homicide case has been registered within the police station on Tuesday. The arrested Shapla Khatun has been despatched to jail.
