The fall of the government is only a matter of time.Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) President Colonel (Retd.) Dr. Oli Ahmad (Vir Bikram) said, ‘The government in power is in dire straits from various aspects due to their irregularities and corruption. Their downfall is only a matter of time.’
He said, ‘Our movement is to realize the dream of the liberation war by restoring people’s human rights, economic rights, justice rights and above all voting rights. We are trying to free people from tyranny. For the liberation of 18 crore people of the country, I gave the blockade program to free the country from dictatorship in real sense.’ He said these things in a virtual speech with the journalists on Saturday.
Ali Ahmad said, ‘The current authoritarian government has trampled on democracy. Banished justice and human rights. People are described as beasts. The country’s economy has reached a terrible level. Lakhs of leaders and workers of the opposition party have given false, invisible cases and are giving them continuously.
All political parties and individuals who believe in nationalist ideals, regardless of party-like-caste-religion, should unite and participate in the blockade program in order to bring down the government. The responsibility of bringing down this illegitimate government cannot be left to the political parties alone. All patriotic citizens should be active in the anti-government movement from their respective positions.
He also said, ‘Due to the increase in the prices of daily necessities, 85 percent of the people of the country are struggling to make ends meet. With rising commodity prices, the struggle for life has become more difficult for many. Due to the unlimited corruption of Awami League leaders, the country is on the path of destruction today. There is no alternative to remove this government from this.
