The flow of the procession is coming to Nayapaltan
BNP’s general meeting today to demand the resignation of the Awami League government and elections under a non-partisan neutral government. Although it was supposed to start from 2 pm, the party’s central office in Nayapaltan area has already turned into a sea of people. The flow of processions from different districts of the country has stopped at the gathering place of Nayapaltan.
Besides, the crowd has gone from Motijheel, Arambagh, Kamalapur, Kakrail, Fakirapool, Shantigar to Malibagh. National songs were seen being performed on the stage.
Saiful Islam came from Jhenaidah. He said, I have seen many mass gatherings. But I have never seen so many people in any gathering. On behalf of Jhenaidah BNP, I want the resignation of this government.
Hundreds of leaders and activists from Dhaka’s Uttara, led by Kofil Uddin, joined the rally. An activist named Ishtiaq Reza said that people do not want this illegal government. We want the resignation of this government. Resign the power in the hands of caretaker government quickly.
