A meeting of Arab leaders with US President Joe Biden has been canceled in the wake of the attack on Al Ahli Baptist Hospital in besieged Gaza.

According to the report, a top diplomat in Amman said yesterday that the meeting of the leaders of Jordan, Egypt and Palestine that was supposed to take place on Wednesday with the US President has been cancelled.The meeting was also canceled in the wake of reports that Israel had launched an attack on a hospital in Gaza, the report said.

At least 500 people were killed in that attack. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was forced to return to Ramallah after the attack.Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi told media that the meeting was canceled due to President Biden canceling his visit to Amman.

He told Al Jazeera, “There is nothing to talk about now except to stop the war.”The White House said Biden’s visit to Israel is ongoing. The US President discussed with King Abdullah II of Jordan. Biden informed the king of the postponement of his visit because the Palestinian president could not attend the meeting.

The White House also said that today President Biden will express his support for the country in a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister. He is also expected to discuss Israel’s military plans in Gaza.
