The Prime Minister inaugurated the new building of the Bar Council My News Bangladesh

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated the 15-storey building of Bangladesh Bar Council. He inaugurated the building at 11 am on Saturday.

The head of government arrived at the inauguration of the newly constructed Bangladesh Bar Council building at the capital’s Suhrawardy Udyan shortly after 9:30 am. At this time Attorney General and Bar Council Chairman AM Amin Uddin, Bar Council Vice Chairman Syed Rezaur Rahman and other leaders greeted the Prime Minister with flowers.

The 15-storey building has been constructed at a cost of Tk 142 crore. State-of-the-art facilities include four lifts, fire fighting system, CC cameras, air conditioning and separate male-female-disabled toilets.

The building was constructed under the supervision of the law and justice division, under the management of the Public Works Department and designed by the Department of Architecture. The building has training rooms for lawyers, five tribunal rooms, spacious multipurpose hall.
