We believe that in a strong democracy, everyone has the opportunity to speak freely and exchange views.
A question was raised in the press briefing whether the United States will impose sanctions on Bangladesh or not before the next elections. In response, Matthew Miller said the United States never prejudges sanctions.
The spokesperson of the US State Department avoided such a question in the briefing whether the US will call for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to be sent abroad.
