At least 20 workers at a Diamond Miners have been killed in a road accident in South Africa.
Arab News reported that the accident happened about 25 kilometers from the mine located in the village of Musian, near the border with Zimbabwe.
The bus was transporting workers from Venetia, one of the country’s largest Diamond Miners, said Bhangani Chauke, a transport official in Limpopo province in the country’s north. A lorry collided with the bus on the road. 20 people died.
The Venetia mine, located near the border of Botswana and Zimbabwe, has been operated by De Beers Group for more than 30 years. More than 4,300 workers work in the mine.
