According to him, the relevant ministry will shortly publish instructions for the movement of transport on the day of the election.

Prior to that, the Department of Road Transport and Highways had issued a notice that prohibited the movement of motorbikes inside constituencies for a period of three days, beginning on January 5 and ending on January 8.

On Sunday, December 31, Md. Jasim Uddin, who is the Assistant Secretary of the Road Transport and Highways Department, signed the notice.

Specifically, the notification said that the election for the 12th National Parliament would take place on January 7th.According to section 32 of the Road Transport Act-2018, the prohibition on the movement of motorbikes inside the electoral area will be in effect beginning at twelve o’clock midnight on January 5 and continuing until midnight on January 8 in order to facilitate the collection of votes for the elections that are scheduled to take place.In addition, taxicabs, microbuses, pickup trucks, trucks (with the exception of those that are operating on particular routes), and other vehicles will be prohibited from entering the constituency beginning at midnight on January 6 and continuing until midnight on January 7 at midnight.
The Ministry of Home Affairs’ Public Security Department had earlier issued a circular that prohibited the movement of motorbikes. This circular was issued earlier.

The candidates for the election, law enforcement, armed forces, administration, authorized observers, and election agents are exempt from the application of these instructions.Polling agents and observers, on the other hand, are required to display the sticker that was supplied by the Election Commission on their cars.The national roadways will not be subject to this prohibition.
