What The Expelled Leader Of BNP Said After Getting Angry At The Journalist's Question Due To Cancellation Of Nomination

The District Returning Officer has canceled the nomination of Major (retired) Akhtaruzzaman, an independent candidate of Kishoreganj-2 Constituency, expelled leader of BNP.

After scrutiny on Sunday (December 3) afternoon, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad canceled his nomination. He said that his nomination papers were canceled due to concealment of the case and bank loan information in the affidavit.

Later, in front of the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, media persons asked him whether he would appeal. In response, Chakhtaruzzaman said, whether to appeal or not is the party’s decision. I will do it if the party says. I do BNP, I used to do BNP, I will do BNP all my life.

Answering the question that you did not take nomination from BNP or BNP is not going to the election, he said angrily, who are you to say whether I am BNP or not? who are you

In response to the question that you have picked up nomination papers as an independent candidate, he said, ‘I am an independent protest, what did I say Mr. Journalist. Buizza will ask. Do not ask unnecessary leading questions. He speaks without knowing what journalism is.’

In response to the question that if you say you are a candidate of the party, then you will appeal, he said, “Oh father, I have never said that I am a candidate of the party.” I am still saying that the party said.

In response to the question that you are an independent candidate, he said, what is the relationship between the candidate and the party? I contested with the party. Now do not say the party!

In response to the question whether he sees a conspiracy or something else behind the cancellation of your nomination papers, he said, what is the conspiracy, my documents are not valid, what is the conspiracy here.

In response to the question that you should have submitted your documents correctly as a former member of parliament, he said, “There is no litigation in my name till the last five years.” Five years is required in the electoral law. There is no need to write beyond five years.

Apart from this, the nomination of Democrat Party candidate Ashraf Ali and Trinamool BNP candidate Ahsan Ullah has been canceled due to concealment of case information in the affidavit in Kishoreganj-2 constituency.

In this seat, Mir Abu Taib. Rezaul Karim (People’s Front), Advocate Md. Sohrab Uddin (Independent), Aliya (NPP), Md. Abdul Kahhar Akand (Awami League) and Md. Billal Hossain (Bangladesh Nationalist Front) will participate in the election.
