Wild shootings:The death toll in a shooting rampage in Leiston, Maine, has risen to 22. Reuters reported this news.CNN earlier reported the death toll at 16 and 50 to 60 injured.
The Androsquegizon County Sheriff’s Office said the attacker remains at large.The sheriff’s office has called for all businesses to close.In a Facebook post, the sheriff’s office said a high-powered assault-rifle was found in the hands of the assailant.
Maine State Police also said that the threat of an attack remains as the attacker has not yet been apprehended.Leestone is located about 36 miles north of Portland. It is the second largest city in the state.
