3 Bangladeshis died in a road accident in the UK

Three members of the same family of Bangladeshi origin were killed in a road accident in the UK. The accident took place in the country’s Leicestershire district on the afternoon of September 8.

The deceased are Alamgir Hossain alias Saju (36), his 9-year-old son Zakir Hossain and 4-year-old daughter Maira Hossain. Alamgir’s wife was critically injured in the same road accident. He is now under treatment in hospital. She was five months pregnant. She miscarried by accident.

Alamgir was a resident of Walsall, near Birmingham, UK. The casualty occurred when the private car Alamgir was driving collided head-on with a cargo lorry.

Alamgir and his son Zakir were killed on the spot. Daughter Myra died after being taken to the hospital. Alamgir’s uncle Ahmad Moosa said his nephew (Alamgir) had gone for a family vacation. The police have not yet told them how this road accident happened.Alamgir’s father’s name is Abdul Kalam. Home is in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj district.
